Sempena eid adha baru-baru ni, MISI had organized Raya Gathering which had been held last night at Kuliyyah of Education. The mastermind behind this tidak lain dan tidak bukan ialah Kak Fitrie kita. Bila cakap soal makan, gathering and meet-up, kami semua excited. Of course. Who wouldn't ? Temanya ialah potluck. However, we (from MISI) also provide tasteful, delightful and delicious foods. Those who kind enough and want to sponsor one or two menu(s) is also encouraged.
Memandangkan selera anak-anak MISI ni luar biasa, some of them even requested to have buras, ambuyat, ayam likku, ayam BBQ and the list keeps going. Obviously, we couldn't fulfill all of those. Talking about realistic here peeps. humm. So, Kak Fitrie asked if any of us could volunteer to cook one of these dishes. Out of sudden, I'd been asked if I could be one of the volunteer. Surprisingly, I'd been placed in ayam likku team. Jawa sesat mana pulak masak makanan bugis ni. erm. -___-

Untuk 1 ekor ayam (ayam prefer potong kecik-kecik), all you need is...
santan 1kg
kerisik
garam
Bahan kisar
250g bawang merah
200g bawang putih
5 to 6 batang serai
150g halia
Bahan parut
5 lengkuas
*lengkuas parut guna pemarut kelapa. kalau tiada, boleh hiris nipis dan tumbuk ja guna lesung luls. We did this way sebab tiada pemarut.
**just an approximate measurement. kindly adjust to your taste
1. goreng tanpa minyak lengkuas yang sudah parut/tumbuk sampai agak kering and take 'em out
2. tumis bahan kisar sampai garing and naik bau
3. masuk lengkuas from step 1. kacau rata.
4. masukkan ayam. gaul and kacau rata.
5. masukkan santan, air, garam. last sekali, baru masuk kerisik.
6. biarkan sampai kuah kering. bila sudah nampak agak kering barulah kena rajin kacau supaya tidak hangus.
7. bila sudah kering then your ayam likku is all done. tahniah!
